Exact collection, delivery or return location details are shared only with the relevant Users where reasonably necessary for a confirmed Booking or to facilitate Platform services.

You may be able to disable certain location permissions through your device settings, although some Platform features may no longer function correctly.

Complete payment card details are generally retained by our authorised payment providers rather than Tool-O.

Claim records may be retained after the completion of a Booking where reasonably necessary.

Photographs, videos and associated metadata (such as timestamps, device information and location data where available) may be analysed by Tool-O, including through AI-assisted systems and manual review, for the purposes of investigating Claims, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, improving Platform security and complying with legal obligations.

11.6 Communications

Messages exchanged through the Platform and communications with customer support may be retained to:

  • administer Bookings;
  • investigate disputes;

  • protect the rights of Tool-O and Users.
